Spice Girls.

This is certified to be Delbbie’s childhood favorite and I am sure that Delbbie is not alone in this.

Baby Spice (Emma Lee Bunton), Posh Spice (Victoria Caroline Adams), Scary Spice (Melanie Janine Brown), Ginger Spice (Geraldine Estelle “Geri” Halliwell) and my favorite, Sporty Spice (Melanie Jayne Chisholm).

When I reminisce my childhood memories, these ladies are impossible not to be mentioned. In the past, whenever there is something that has their names and their pictures on it, for sure, I will own one of those. Every concert on television even on tapes and television shows they have, I will definitely watch it. I even came to the point of celebrating one of my birthdays, dressing up like one of them (Baby Spice to be exact). That is how I idolize them and how addict I am to them when I was young. I liked the group, Spice Girls, way back because of their songs, how the wear their hair, how they wear those high-knee socks and those shoes with tall heels, how they sing and dance at the same time and the like. In short, before, they appeared to me as a very good, I mean VERY GOOD, group. Now that I am a teenager and since the group does not exist anymore, it is good to know that the music or songs of the Spice Girls are still known and will never be forgotten.

In this entry, it only shows that media can really influence everybody, especially kids. Of course, they do not know yet the real meanings of the things shown through different forms of media that is why they have the tendency to idolize or like things right away. So to the parents out there, it is better to guide your kids while they are using any forms of media because it can really affect them in positive ways as well as in negative ways.
