First Daughter.

Another movie that struck me.
I understand Sam’s dad to be very protective about his family and having to take Sam’s freedom away is included. He just wants the safety of his family especially Sam because she is far away from home but still, I think it’s too much. When it turned out that James is a secret agent, her dad, obviously, lied to Sam and that’s wrong. Maybe there’s other way to protect Sam without telling a lie.
In Sam’s case, every girl wants to be free. Every girl wants to be treated to be an ordinary person. She was given a little bit of freedom she’s asking for and in the movie, she took advantage of it by doing things that can cause her dad’s reputation a bad image. We all know that whenever we are given freedom, we should set a limit and we should be responsible for our actions. Remember, freedom is only called freedom when no one’s getting hurt.
On James’ side, it’s not a fault when you fall in love. It’s just that, when it’s a job, then it’s got to the job. I think that if he really loved Sam, he would choose to be with Sam over being a secret agent.
Honestly, I hate the fact that in end, they were not together. I mean, wouldn’t it be sweeter if it were a happy ending for the both of them? Well, it’s just a movie and we can’t do anything about what the writer and director wanted to happen. I just wanted to say that this movie was great and definitely will be remembered.
